This year, Serbia is participating in the prestigious international wine and spirits fair ProWine Shanghai for the fifth time. From November 12 to 14, 21 companies are showcasing their products at Serbia's national stand, including 12 wineries and 9 distilleries.
As part of the program at Serbia’s national stand, two masterclasses were held on the opening day of the fair, focusing on authentic Serbian wine varieties: “Discovering Serbia’s Authentic White Varieties” and “The Character of Serbia’s Authentic Red Varieties.” Both sessions attracted great interest and were fully booked.

In addition, visitors had the opportunity to taste specialties prepared by Serbian chefs, made from traditional local ingredients.
ProWine Shanghai is one of the largest and most important specialized trade fairs for wine and spirits in China, bringing together leading producers, distributors, buyers, and retail chains. Since its launch in 2013, the fair has built a strong reputation as the leading industry event in Asia. Each year, it attracts around 20,000 visitors, who have the opportunity to explore the product portfolios of more than 800 exhibitors from 39 countries.

Next week, the wine story continues in Belgrade, where the international fair Wine Vision by Open Balkan will take place from November 22 to 25. This year, for the first time, the event will host wineries and distilleries from China, opening a new chapter in cooperation between Serbia and China in the wine and spirits sector.

More than 50 professional buyers from China are expected to attend, who will have the opportunity during the fair to discover the richness of Serbia’s authentic grape varieties and establish direct contacts with producers from across the region.
