Serbian Producers in Tirana Present New Technologies and Innovations

Twenty-two companies from Serbia from the metal-processing and electrical industry, as well as the food, chemical, pharmaceutical, textile, and furniture industries, will present their production program at the upcoming 27th International Trade Fair in Tirana, which will be held from December, 1st - 4th. 

The presentation of the Serbian economy at the National booth occupying 280 square meters, was organized by the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and the Development Agency of Serbia. With aim of expanding business in the Albanian market, strengthening already established business ties, or finding new business partners, the following companies will perform in Tirana: Jović servis and remont, Delta filter d.o.o, Uniplast d.o.o, Stantech doo, 9. Septembar - Tissue Converting, Vlora comm doo, Milšped, Aleksandar MN, Trendtex d.o.o, Bogutovo d.o.o, Patent CO doo, Zlatiborac, Nelt, Pionir, Simpo, Budimka, Gebi d.o.o., Art ival d.o.o, DPS Klas , MIN Komerc, Bramy and Kolarević.

For the Serbian economy, Albania is a market with significant opportunities and constant trade growth over the years. During 2020, exports to the Albanian market increased by 10%, despite the problems brought to business globally by the coronavirus pandemic.

During the first nine months of this year, there was an increase in trade between Serbia and Albania by 28% compared to the same period in 2020. From January to October this year, the exchange was worth 186.9 million euros, 41.8 million euros more than during the first nine months of 2020. Exports also increased by a quarter, while imports increased by 41 percent. Serbia also achieved a larger trade surplus - it amounted to 94.1 million euros, 14.6 million more than in the same period in 2020.

CCIS organized business meetings for its members with the most important Albanian partners during the fair, while international business meetings will be organized within the European Entrepreneurship Network (EEN), on December 2nd and 3rd.

The Trade Fair in Tirana, in terms of the number of exhibitors and visitors, is the most important fair event in Albania, which will gather exhibitors from more than 20 countries this year as well.
