Čadež opened the hub of the Serbian economy at “Expo 2020 Dubai“

Serbia Business Hub Dubai was officially opened today at the World Exhibition “Expo 2020 Dubai“  by Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, in the presence of President  of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić, senior UAE officials, representatives of Serbian and international companies, institutes and organizations.

At the opening of the Business Hub of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, Čadež said that the business centre was “the home to the Serbian economy in Dubai” during the World Exhibition and invited small and medium-sized enterprises to participate in “Expo 2020 Dubai“.

  “Over the next six months, more than a thousand companies from Serbia will stay here. The team of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia is available 24 hours a day to help them make new deals”, Čadež said.

The CCIS President pointed out that not many countries had such a logistically and technically equipped business hub for free use by their businesspeople, as well as free charter flights and organization of presentations and business meetings with potential partners in Dubai.

“Expo Dubai is not just for the big ones. Expo Dubai is for everyone. Come and we will help you do business“, said Čadež.

Today, the first hundred businesspeople and representatives of institutes and organizations from Serbia arrived at the World Exhibition, who will hold important meetings with companies from all over the world, Switzerland, Luxembourg, Slovenia, the USA, Emirates, said Čadež.

President of the Republic of Serbia, Aleksandar Vučić praised the establishment of the Business Hub and underscored the importance of the logistical support that the businesspeople would receive to make new business and friendly ties, with the aim to strengthen the Serbian economy.  

Khalifa Suhail Al Zaffin, the Chairman of the Dubai South Free Zone, presented the CCIS President with a Certificate for the work of the Serbian Business Hub. In the Serbian multifunctional business space of 500 square meters, businesspeople will have complete technical, logistic and communication support during the participation in the Expo. The space and services of the Business Hub will be free for businesspeople from Serbia, as well as for the companies of our people who live and work in the UAE and the Gulf.

During the Exhibition, company and sector presentations, investment forums, panels and b2b meetings will be held in the business centre of the Serbian economy.
