Serbian manufacturers of work and protective footwear and clothing for special purposes have successfully promoted export capacities at the international fair "Safety and Safety at Work" in Moscow. It is s expected that the total export of these products to Russia, only through distributor "Etalon", will exceed five million euros in 2022, while Russian partners are negotiating promising projects for joint production of footwear in Russia and the opening of production of protective clothing in Serbia.

In addition to clothing and footwear for special purposes, there is great potential for children's footwear manufacturers from Serbia on the Russian market. During the Fair BIOT 2021 which lasted from 7th to 10th of December, "Etalon" from Moscow, the Russian business partner, importer, and distributor for the region of Russia and the former USSR organized bilateral meetings, commercial negotiations, presentations, and visits to sales centers of Russian customers for Serbian companies.

Distributors from all regions of Russia from Kaliningrad in the west, through Omsk and Krasnoyarsk in central Siberia to the Far East and Vladivostok, but also from Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Belarus confirmed the premium quality of Serbian footwear, the interest of end customers, and positive feedback, says Dejan Delic, Director of the CCIS Representation in Moscow.

Russian medics, pharmacists, miners, forest keepers, hunters, fishermen, mountaineers, professionals, and recreationists will wear quality Serbian footwear from the company Leon from Sabac, Tigar Footwear from Pirot, and KS System from Novi Sad.
