Around 150 professional building managers and representatives of local self-government have been trained to successfully implement energy efficiency principles in residential buildings. The training was held in Belgrade, Sombor, Zaječar, and Novi Sad, as part of the "Better Energy" project implemented by the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Industry in cooperation with the American Agency for International Development (USAID).
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia and USAID's "Better Energy" project aims to provide free training for professional managers of multi-apartment buildings, municipal energy managers, and officials of local self-governments in charge of housing issues.
The five-year USAID "Better Energy" project is aimed at improving energy efficiency in multi-residential buildings at the municipal level and increasing the use of energy from renewable sources in Serbia.
