The largest exhibition in the world “Expo 2020 Dubai” is opening its gates on Friday, 1 October, for businesspeople and visitors from more than 190 countries. Already in the first month, in October, more than 200 businesspeople from Serbia from almost 100 companies, institutes, organizations and institutions will participate at the first two Thematic Weeks: “Climate and Biodiversity” and “The Space”, and the accompanying trade fairs Gitex and Gitex Future Stars.
“Expo Dubai” is the right place for the Serbian businesspeople to meet partners from the entire world, including also global investors – the largest multinational companies, and the opportunity to present their fantastic innovative products and solutions, to contract new deals and expand their business”, said Marko Čadež, President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS).
In the Business Hub of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, the business centre of the Serbian economy at the World Exhibition, the presentations, conferences, meetings, investment forums, and b2b meetings will be held at this most important event on the planet during six months.
“Everything is ready to welcome our businesspeople and guests from all over the world to the Business Hub of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, which will be practically home to the Serbian economy at the World Exhibition during the six months of the Dubai Expo” Čadež pointed out.
The CCIS President called on companies from Serbia to be part of the world presentation of our economy in Dubai and to use the opportunities that open up for them by participation in the thematic weeks and accompanying traditional fairs held during the World Exhibition.
It is estimated that more than 1,000 companies from Serbia will participate in the World Exhibition from the first day of October to the end of March 2022. The support to domestic companies has been provided by the General Secretariat of the Government of Serbia, CCIS, and Development Agency of Serbia. Companies get free space in the CCIS Business Hub, free air transportation, free local transfers, preferential hotel accommodation rates, and participation in investment forums, B2B meetings and various types of promotions.
The most beautiful bicycle in the world will arrive from Serbia at the Expo
The issue of climate change and biodiversity conservation is one of the key challenges of humanity. At the first of nine thematic weeks of the Exhibition, from 3 to 9 October, domestic companies will present their innovative solutions that can improve life on the planet.
The Serbian Pavilion will display an electric bicycle from the domestic company “Ono Bikes”, the most exclusive and advanced model “Ono Archont E60”. This model has won a number of international awards. It is the most beautiful electric bicycle in the world, according to the famous media giant BBC.
“We can’t wait to see what our teams have prepared and what will be presented in the Serbian Pavilion”, said Marko Sćepanović, Director of “Ono Bikes”.
The innovation of the company “Green Doctor”, which is known for developing the Serbian product “all in one” modular green roof system, will also be presented in Dubai.
„Our product has been protected by the Intellectual Property Office and Expo 2020 Dubai is an ideal opportunity to present it to foreign partners. The possibility of participating in such an international exhibition is of great importance for the visibility of our products and services”, said Dejan Lazić, Director of the Company.
Serbia at "The Space" Exhibition
Businesspeople from Serbia have been developing the state-of-the-art technology and cooperating with world companies in the field of aerospace and aviation technology. They will present their projects and achievements during the second Thematic Week "The Space", from 17 to 23 October, and the accompanying fairs of the World Exhibition, Gitex and Gitex Future Stars, which will be held at the same time in Dubai.
Serbia will be represented by the company “KonElek”, which manufactures tools for repairing passenger planes and jet engines, but also parts for satellites, “Vrmeco” with a simulator for astronauts, “Pink Research & Development Centre” with a drone, “SvetoLet” projects in the field of aerospace industry, the “Mihailo Pupin” Institute, the Innovation Centre of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering from Belgrade…
The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia has launched the website expo2020.pks.rs, which contains the most important information about the World Exhibition “Expo 2020 Dubai” by thematic weeks, fairs, and presentations of domestic companies participating at the Exhibition.
