Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS) and the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia) will work on a stronger promotion of Serbia as an investment destination, a model of dual education, the inclusion of Serbian companies in regional supply chains, as well as strengthening the cooperation of German and Serbian businessmen, it was pointed out at the meeting of the Presidents of the CCIS, Marko Čadež and Milan Grujić, President of the AHK Serbia.
"The Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia is actively involved in the promotion and implementation of the dual model of education. There are more and more high-tech educational profiles needed because the companies that invest in Serbia also bring new technologies, which makes this model of education more attractive for young people", said the President of the CCIS. He added that in the coming period, the adoption of a new law is expected, which will enable better implementation of this educational model and a longer practice of students in companies.
Čadež reminded that CCIS implemented a series of activities aimed at strengthening cooperation between Serbian and German companies as well as attracting German investors. "We are currently in negotiations with german company Terra Data in order for them to open their research center in Serbia," Čadež pointed out.
The German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce organized AHK Road Show with the aim of exchanging information among members, and company representatives, promoting vocational education, investments, and the green economy. In this, we had a lot of help from the regional chambers of commerce", said Milan Grujić, the President of AHK Serbia. He thanked for the support that German companies receive in Serbia.
