Serbia and the region are rated as the future of world wine. These are observations of the famous specialized magazine dedicated to wine and a kind of rating agency "Falstaff", said Marko Čadež, the president of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia (CCIS), announcing today's opening of the Second Regional Wine, Food and Tourism Fair.

"The Wine Vision of the Open Balkans", according to Čadež, will gather around 600 exhibitors and more than 450 professional buyers from all over the world, from all continents, at the Belgrade Fair from November 16 to 19. As he pointed out in an interview with Serbian National Broadcast Station, through a specialized online platform created by CCIS, 4000 bilateral meetings were scheduled with potential business partners which is great news for the producers and all those who are doing business in the wine industry.

"The biggest European buyers, such as Norwegian Vinmonopolet, British Novel Wines, then United Stars Corporation Group from Canada, Merit Importadora from Brazil and others, come here to do business. There is no country that has not sent its greatest representative to talk to our winemakers. From today, Belgrade is the world center of wine and we expect a large number of visitors," said Čadež and invited all wine lovers to come to the Belgrade Fair and from tomorrow until Sunday, November 19, try and buy the best quality wines.
The first day of the fair, November 16th, will be open to professional buyers and guests.
Čadež indicated that the world's biggest names will visit the fair when it comes to wine evaluation, followed by sommeliers, and as accompanying events, exhibitions of food, brandy, spices, gastronomic competitions, and the presentation of tourist potential will be organized.

He reminded that the Wine Vision by Open Balkan Fair, which was created as a joint initiative by the three leaders of the region, Aleksandar Vučić, President of Serbia, Edi Rama, Prime Minister of Albania and Dimitar Kovačevski, Prime Minister of North Macedonia, was promoted last year at prestigious world events and fairs.
