Marko Čadež, the President of the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Serbia, and Christopher Hill, the Ambassador of the United States of America to Serbia, met at the Kopaonik Business Forum. They discussed strengthening regional cooperation, joining the single European market, and improving cooperation between Serbian and American companies.
During the meeting, Čadež shared that, as co-chairman of the Eurochamber's Committee on Enlargement, he will present a joint initiative of the European business community. The initiative aims to expedite the entry of the Western Balkans and Ukraine to the EU single market and an economic community similar to the current status of Iceland or Norway. Čadež highlighted that Ambassador Hill is a strong supporter of regional cooperation among business communities.
Čadež also discussed the cooperation between Serbian and American companies with Hill and presented BizChat. It is a new digital service of CCIS that uses artificial intelligence built based on Microsoft technology. The President of CCIS reminded Hill that it was Microsoft engineers employed in the Belgrade center who developed the entire vector base for AI that is now used worldwide.
