The total gross value added (GVA) generated by Creative industry was 1.7 billion EUR in 2024, which is the 2.4% of total GVA of the country and 2.0% of Serbia’s GDP. Observed by activities, around 358.0 million EUR created by other professional, scientific and technical activities (20.2%) and 268.0 million EUR created by programming and braodcasting activities (16.0%). From 2020 to 2024, GVA share of creative industry in total GVA and GDP of the Republic of Serbia shows upward trend.

Export of these goods in 2025 amounted to 72.1 million EUR, which is the 0.2% of total export, this year’s export is higher than the previous year (4.5%). Also, export of these services in 2025 was 193.0 million EUR, which is the 1.3% of total services export. This sector of economy is hiring 64.4 thousand of workers (2.8% of total employment) while the most are employed in creative, arts and entertainment activities (11.3 thousand) and other professional, scientific and technical activities (9.6 thousand). In the creative industry in 2025 was operating 4.9 thousand of active companies and 24.2 thousand entrepreneurs which is in total around 29.1 thousand.
